(jd) A man from Herford discovered a break-in at his house in Clausewitzstraße on Sunday morning (June 15): previously unknown suspects forced the lock on a cellar door to gain access to the inside of the building. They searched the cellar for stolen goods and took a Bosch hammer drill with accessories and the battery of an e-bike. The damage is in the mid three-digit range. The time of the crime is between Saturday, 4 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. Witnesses who observed anything conspicuous in the Clausewitzstraße area during this period are asked to contact 05221/8880.
