Waldfeucht-Obspringen - Last week Thursday (November 21), a previously unknown man rang several doorbells on Sandstraße between 2.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and pretended to be an employee of Deutsche Glasfaser. The unknown man was wearing a black jacket with the words "Deutsche Glasfaser" on it. He was around 30 years old, around 180 centimetres tall, had short black hair, a three-day beard and appeared to be from the south.
Under the pretext that the municipality would allegedly cover the costs of a fibre optic connection, several residents agreed to sign a contract and a direct debit authorization.
Investigations revealed that the municipality had not promised to cover the costs. In addition, Deutsche Glasfaser did not have any field staff in Obspringen at the time of the crime.
